Description/Comment:Role Overview
The role of the Consultant - Business Readiness and Project Management is to ensure the customer's Business leads and users are supported throughout the project and all business impacts from the new functional solution and business processes are understood. You will analyze the customer's business and conduct business impact assessments to ascertain where high and low-level changes will be. Using this information you will assist the customer in producing a deployment plan to manage and coordinate activities such as procedure writing, learning, training, production readiness and support to ensure business readiness for the implementation to take place with minimal disruption to the customers' business.
Key Responsibilities
*4-6 years of experience*

1. Identify, engage and onboard customer's Change Agents that will work with the team through the business impact assessment and deployment planning and execution stages.
2. Lead a team of business analysts through business impact analysis based upon client Subject Matter Expert interviews and target business process analysis.
3. Compile an executive summary of impacts identified per Business Area.
4. Lead the definition of action plans to address significant people, process, and technology changes (deployment planning).
5. Align action plans with other major program activities such as UAT, Training and Migration and coordinate input to the project's master plan.
6. Lead the definition of a detailed cutover plan (hour by hour), go/ no-go checklist & acceptance plan.
7. Provide guidance and coaching to the customer's teams throughout the implementation to ensure that all deployment activities are completed in a timely manner and to a high quality.
8. Help define a comprehensive approach to assist leaders, customer associates, and partners in transitioning from the current state to the new system and processes.

Critical Experiences

1. 5 years of experience in guiding clients through the identification, analysis and mitigation of business impacts from major system implementations.
2. Have led similar activities in a large complex multi-disciplinary environment.
3. Strong strategic perspective – Can lead identification of requirements, develop plans, and identify risks and issues.
4. Strong project management skills – Can effectively organize activities, manage a workplan, work collaboratively with others, drive to deadlines and manage risks and issues.
5. Strong communication sills – Able to tell a story in concise and impactful ways, able to deliver effective oral and written communications (including presenting).
6. Strong PowerPoint skills – Able synthesize information into visually impactful and well-organized documents.
7. Strong Excel and MS Project skills.
8. Fast learner and developer – Able to come up to speed quickly on issues and to quickly turn around ideas and documents.
9. Effective Leader – Able to establish relationship with stakeholders. Able to lead a team of consultants/customer resources in producing high quality deliverables in line with the project's timelines.
