Duties:
  • Lead the launch demand alignment meeting to ensure updated launch plans are captured in the APO planning system for a rolling 36 month time horizon.
  • Ensure clear communication regarding launch forecast and forecast changes. Also ensure updated forecast assumptions are reflected in the demand plan.
  • Document key launch assumptions.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining various management reports as it pertains to launches (Launch KPIs, Status, Key assumptions, Write-Off, Inventory levels etc)
  • Interface with Client's Strategic planning teams to understand longer term launch plans

· Interfaces with supply planning team to create different launch supply scenarios according to provided forecast scenarios by Commercial launch management team.
· Supports Launch Investment approval process by providing launch supply scenarios, inventory impact and potential write off risk according to provided forecast scenarios by Commercial launch management team
  • Interface and communicate with Supply Planning team on forecast changes. Work with supply teams to understand impact of changes (i.e., product constraints and impact on launches or write offs etc).

· Proactively identify potential risks to launches (i.e launch delays, supply constraints or excess inventory and obsolescence. Effectively leverages relationships and excellent communication skills to coordinate with SC Management & Commercial launch management teams to minimize disruptions.
  • Work with Finance teams & launch management teams on reconciling manufacturing launch forecast vs budget and highlights risks and opportunities to the budget

  • Supply Chain Planning knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • 5-7 years of Supply Chain Planning and/or launch management experience preferably with a minimum of 3 years in a pharmaceutical environment or other GMP regulated industry
  • Strong Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency
  • Experience using SAP APO, BI
  • APICS certification a plus
  • Strong presentation, communication and facilitation skills and ability to interface effectively with all levels
  • Highly motivated and ability to work in a team environment and handle multiple responsibilities at one time is desired
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Math or similar field.
