Duties:
  • Responsible for accurately and timely, control and payment of US exempt and non-exempt, payrolls ensuring all payrolls are processed in accordance with set deadlines. Payrolls need to be verified and processed accurately. The role will partner on the coordination of activities within our client's payroll (ADP), HRIS (Workday) and time management (EE Time) systems.
  • Under the Director of Disbursements, the Senior Payroll Analyst plans, organizes, oversees and in the absence of the Director, directs the operation of the payroll function to ensure College employees are paid on time and accurately. Assures compliance with multi state, and federal regulations concerning Payroll administration. Verifies the accuracy of payroll data through proper balancing, resolving discrepancies, reconciling the interface between the payroll system and posting to the general ledger.
  • Under the payroll manager's guidance, the payroll associate will plan, organize and process the bi-weekly domestic US payrolls processes per policies and procedures to include garnishments, special pays, retroactive payments, and benefit deductions, Stock Options, absences, wage garnishment payments, tax year end and all other payroll related duties to ensure the payrolls are processed accurately and on time.
  • Ensuring onboarding and off boarding are processed as per pro ration rules for both non-exempt and exempt payrolls
  • Associate will assure our client payrolls are compliance with multi state and federal regulations
  • Payrolls will be verified for accuracy through proper balancing, resolving discrepancies, reconciling the interfaces between payroll and third parties and support the finance departments to reconcile the general ledger
  • Partner with payroll manager and the global payroll team to process international assignees
  • Ensure payrolls are processed in an accurate and timely manner to meet deadlines
  • Verify employee changes such as tax withholding, setting up new SUI codes, direct deposit changes and insurance deductions have been applied correctly
  • Ensure timesheets for the US non-exempt population are complete and approved prior to processing
  • Ensure payrolls are approved by management prior to commit
    Partner with payroll manager to ensure monthly, quarterly, yearly and adhoc payroll filings and payments are met as per deadlines, audits
    Partner with third party payroll, HR and benefit vendors
  • Document processes to show step by step instructions on all payroll tasks
  • Administer multiple payroll interfaces and systems
  • Process PTO on off boarders and verify balances in ADP for non-exempt are accurate prior to processing
  • Distribute payroll reports to Global payroll team, HR and benefits as directed
  • Process all employment verification forms using ADP service
  • Process and complete all payroll documentation received by third parties such as IRS
  • Compile data analytics for the global payroll dashboard
Skills:
  • Must have ADP Workforce now experience - preferably current experience
  • Must have experience working with shift workers payroll
  • Must have experience working with HR and benefit interfaces
  • Must have experience working with journals and reconciliations
  • Must have experience working with state taxes and filings
  • Must have experience with garnishment payments
  • Must have experience with 401K – deferred comp and restoration plans, 940 and 941
  • Must have knowledge of Salary guide – be guided by agency max bill rate
  • Must have Strong communication skills
  • Prefer Etime or Kronos time management system experience
Education: Batchelor degree with 5 years' experience
