Sales Operations Analyst needed for a contract opportunity with our client in Dublin, CA.

Our client is looking for a Professional Services Operations Analyst to support their rapid business growth. The primary function of this highly visible position is to support Professional Services business management, working closely with all levels of the professional services organization including project managers and executives, as well as finance and contracting departments.
  • Assist the Senior Director of Financial Operations with financial planning and analysis.
  • Support PS business development with general reporting activities; provide insights that support business objectives.
  • Analyze and track resource demand – staffing utilization, demand / capacity, project profitability.
  • Review sales opportunities and contracts (SOW); assess rate accuracy, discount and margin.
  • Oversee the setup and maintenance of projects.
  • Mine and analyze data; identify areas to improve resource utilization, increase revenue, enhance service margins and minimize risk.
  • Project manage the development of centralized tools that the business development team can use to extract data / insights for daily business management in an automated manner.
  • Provide analytics in support of new or enhanced products including KPIs, goals and adoption rates.
  • Analyze current channel, vertical and sub-vertical performance and identify levers for driving revenue growth.
  • Develop presentations and reporting to communicate key messages to senior management.
  • Perform on-going reporting and analytical projects on an ad-hoc basis.

  • Bachelor or comparable degree in accounting, finance or business administration.
  • Preferred 4-6 years' experience in supporting service business.
  • Good understanding of GAAP / FP&A concepts / Revenue Recognition / VSOE.
  • OpenAir, NetSuite and Salesforce experience is a big plus.
  • Comfortable working with senior managers and executives face to face and remotely.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks at hand; strong attention to detail.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptionally strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Proactive and ability to take ownership of projects without constant supervision.
