Sr. HRIS Analyst

Sr. HRIS Analyst urgently needed for a short-term contract with our client in Anaheim.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Sr. HRIS is responsible for providing system support, analyzing, maintaining and leveraging technology solutions to meet the needs of the Human Resources Department and users of HRIS and other systems supported by the HRIS team.
  • Ensure data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
  • Reviews, tests the implementation of HRIS system upgrades and / or patches.
  • Collaborates with functional and technical staff to coordinate application upgrades and / or fixes, maintains system tables, documents processes and results.
  • Manages project work flows including analysis of specification documentation, technical consultation with client groups and development of test plans.
  • Provides project oversight from design through implementation; identifies, tracks, monitors and communicates to client groups project-related issues, scope changes, variances and contingencies that occur during the course of the project flow.
  • Creates test scenarios and assists project team members in performing tests to insure all processes function according to predetermined goals.
  • Writes, maintains and supports a variety of reports and queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools.
  • Responds to inquiries and/or issues received by end-users electronically, determines best course of action for resolution.
  • Researches and resolves HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws, performs scheduled activities; recommends solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills; communicates effectively with various contacts (internal and external).
  • Consistently exercises independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Attends seminars and completes other training to remain current on industry trends.
  • Participates in company meetings, webinars and conference calls.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must possess approximately 4 to 5 years of any combination of experience and / or education that demonstrates a commanding knowledge of HRIS.
  • BA / BS degree preferred.
  • Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must have Oracle HR experience. Oracle Cloud version 12experience is desired, but not required. 
  • Must have the ability to follow complex oral and written instructions.
  • Must display strong analytical and organizational skills and have the ability to identify and implement process improvement strategies with positive business results.
  • Must have strong work ethics and a high level of confidentiality to ensure proper handling of sensitive information.
