Seeking a Product Specialist 5 with distributed application development experience having knowledge of skills required to build, manage, deploy applications and configuration using multiple DevOps tools. Understand and exercise DevOps concepts. As a Product Specialist have knowledge around technologies and techniques for automating builds & deployments; provisioning and management of infrastructure in a distributed environment through scripting, plus integrating tools to construct a DevOps toolchain.
 
Additionally, similar skills and experience with enterprise mobile application delivery/publish for are needed.
 
Work with IT organization to define and define, create and roll out standards, procedures and best practices for DevOps tool operation and improvement.
 
Implement, Lead/Support Build & Releases of Applications using DevOps (& mobile) tools, across multiple application platforms.
 
Ensure high quality, automation of Build & Release functions in pre-production, and production environments.
 
Collaborate, Share, help co-workers and mentor junior members of the team in developing and managing automated build and release methods.

Additional Preferred Qualifications
Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate within IT and business partners while managing customer expectations.
 
Experience in developing and implementing DevOps model using various DevOps automated tools, includes tools to build application platforms, build and deploy applications to multiple platforms including cloud and mobile infrastructure. Additionally, this role would own tasks to resolution; interfacing with developers as part of the change management team; reproduce, validate, and perform training on build and deploy automation using DevOps tools.
Responsible for developing documentation and communicate, evangelize, advocate for implementing and promoting the use of DevOps tools.
 
Required Qualifications:
 
Knowledge and Experience
  • A good understanding of ITIL change management process.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages in support of a DevOps implementation.
  • General understanding of the need for and use of multi-tier architectures, load balancers, caching, web servers, application servers, databases, and networking.
  • A good understanding of security practices.
  • Experience with templates and other configurable items to enable automation.
  • Familiarity with deployment techniques (and tools) in a distributed environment.
  • Familiarity with Application Programming interfaces.
  • Basic understanding of relational and non-relational databases.
  • Experience in creating policies, standards and procedures for software configuration management in relationship with DevOps processes.
  • Working knowledge of one or more high-level programming languages (C#, Java, PHP, Ruby, Python, etc.).
