About this Role:
The IT Business Partner will:
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key Business functions (e.g. Finance, Sales, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Marketing, HR, etc.).
  • Gain a deep understanding of the Stakeholder's business needs and share perspectives on progressive business ideas and emerging technologies to drive and deliver transformational change.
  • Build credibility and serve as a trusted technology adviser to Business functions and consult with business leaders to identify strategic technology needs and provide guidance based on market trends.
  • Serve as a liaison between IT and the Business, providing the highest level of customer satisfaction and partnership, ensuring that IT services are delivered as committed.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate technology, information security, audit, and governance processes and standards.
  • Collaborate with Business Owners to analyze problems/opportunities, identify and present ROI of Information Technology.
  • Ensure that programs, initiatives and projects are delivered on time and within budget. Manage risks appropriately and plan proactive mitigation.
  • Work with program/project management and systems development to define, propose, and implement new IT capabilities.
Required Skills/Experience:
  • 15+ years of progressive experience delivering and managing IT business solutions.
  • Ability to comprehend how business, technology and operations all intersect, and present compelling value propositions that have clear benefits to Business stakeholders.
  • Strong and sustaining knowledge of emerging trends in technology (e.g., Cloud, Analytics, Mobility, Digitization, Social Media), with ability to apply these to define opportunities for Business organizations to deliver new business capabilities and efficiencies.
  • Experience with ERP (e.g. Oracle), CRM (e.g. SFDC), PLM, SCM and other business critical platforms.
  • Analytical expertise with experience in calculating return on investment for IT.
  • Familiarity with ITIL (esp. Change Management, Service Management, Problem Management). Master's degree a plus.
  • Prior experience in a Chief of Staff role a plus.
  • Excellent portfolio, program and project management skills.
  • Collaborative leadership skills, ability to achieve results via cross-functional teams and manage complex problem resolutions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal/presentation skills, including the ability to effectively communicate in both highly technical and non-technical environments. Effective listening skills, and demonstrated ability to develop effective proposals and roadmaps.
  • High level of accountability and follow-through, strong results-orientation.
