Maximo Asset System Administrator

The candidate will be responsible for working closely with the Maximo product owner, leads from all the functional areas associated with Maximo, Maximo end users, IT infrastructure leads who support Maximo integration points and reporting tools, technical and administrative help desk leads, as well as Job Control to assist with other needs.

This candidate would be a key contributor to an established team responsible for working with end users and interfacing with technical staff. We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter who can meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will be expected to utilize industry and standard best practices for each of the essential functions found below. The candidate will conform to existing client enterprise architecture and technology standards, and industry-standard development methodologies.

Essential Functions:

• Conduct daily administration duties within Maximo and Oracle.
• Monitor and report on the health of key areas of functionality within Maximo.
• Identify opportunities to increase the efficiency of implemented Maximo features and functions.
• Maintain Maximo system documentation.
• Interact with help desk personnel to troubleshoot Maximo related end user issues. • Develop and implement testing strategies.
• Provide subject matter expertise in Maximo product roadmap planning & upgrade activities.
• Provides advice and training to Maximo end-users.
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
• Participates in special projects as required.
• Participate in Maximo related integration support and upgrade activities.

Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Configuring IIS, WebSphere, and Maximo, Spatial and Anywhere Extensions.
• Querying and configuring Business Intelligence Reporting Tools (BIRT) Reports.
• Experience administering, programming, and configuring Oracle.
• Experience administering, programming, and configuring SQL.
• An expert level understanding of data processing concepts and techniques.
• A basic understanding of Kronos is preferable.

Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree or higher
• Working experience with IBM Maximo Asset Management 7.5 or higher.
• Working experience with Windows Server 2008/2012
• Experience with Mobile SuiteReq & DataSplice is preferable.
• Security+ certification
