POSITION SUMMARY:
This candidate will be involved in providing solutions to technical issues, and are responsible for meeting development schedules and ensuring the delivered solution meets the technical specifications and design requirements. This person will lead in the design, development and implementation of web applications utilizing multiple development platforms, including .Net, and should have a strong knowledge of the company's Microsoft environment design and development.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The incumbent may be required to perform all or a combination of the following essential functions as determined by business necessity:
  • Consults with clients/internal staff members to gather information about program needs, objectives, functions, features, and input and output requirements.
  • Lead complete projects and/or a group of Developers in the development and support of application programs, automated processes and other computer systems.
  • Writes and maintains technical specifications and documentation.
  • Prepare realistic development and testing schedules consistent with established department standards and priorities.
  • Ability to architect systems with a strong emphasis on performance, scalability and reliability.
  • Communication and interaction with several cross functional groups
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure successful implementation of changes to existing systems.
  • Evaluate tools and technology and make recommendations on best solutions satisfying user requirements.
  • Problem Solving and Troubleshooting system issues that may arise.
  • Good ability to take on multiple assignments.
  • Own one or more modules of the project under development.
  • Mentor team members on best practices and coding standards.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide feedback.
SPECIFICATIONS

EDUCATION, TRAINING and/or EXPERIENCE:
A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent is required. Must possess eight (8) to ten (10) total years of Web experience. Management of staff and/or mentoring experience a plus.

TECHNICAL SKILLS, CERTIFICATES, and/or LICENSES:
Experience with Microsoft Programming, Visual Studio/TFS, ASP.NET, C# .NET, Web Services/WCF, SQL, JQuery, JavaScript, VBScript, and hand-coded HTML. Knowledge of coding/UI patterns, (MVC, MVP, MVVP). Experience with HTML5 for mobile device interfaces is a big plus. Familiar with Web Traffic Reporting, Search Engine Optimization, and Application Conversion Experience. WebAPI,JQuery, AngularJS 2 and above, C++, JavaScript, HTML, XML, OOA and OOD Concepts, SQL Server, Oracle Sound proficiency in TFS source control and any other tools for SQL Server

REASONING ABILITY:
Must possess the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. The ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstracts and concrete variables is required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY (If Applicable):
This position will manage projects, facilitate meetings, and indirectly mentor IT Staff and Users on major projects.
