The Desktop Support Tech in this position will be primary contact working with various levels of leadership including senior and c-level band in one of the largest corporations in the US. We’re looking for energetic, highly professional candidates with executive-level communications skills.
 
Overview:
  • Repair, test, image, and clean PCs, laptops, monitors, printers, and other related hardware
  • Maintain, analyze, and troubleshoot software and computer peripherals
  • Set up, configure, and add all hardware
  • Install, move, add, and change – large IMAC events expected for client printer migration and PC refreshes
  • Assure that all tickets requiring follow-up and/or calls receive appropriate attention
  • Back up and burn end user data
  • Assist in developing and documenting improvements to current processes
  • Assist coworkers in resolution of end users’ technical issues across the program
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years’ experience supporting PC hardware and software
  • At least one year of experience supporting PC / laptop Windows, providing break-fix and IMAC
  • CompTIA A+ nice to have
  • Experience working in an enterprise environment
  • Experience with asset management.
  • Understanding of diagnoses, troubleshooting, replacing PC / laptop hardware internal components (motherboard, hard drives, RAM, CPU)
  • Experience troubleshooting PC software (Windows blue-screen, Outlook, connecting network printers)
  • Ability to handle multiple projects
  • Must be comfortable with face to face interactions – required to provide technical support to end users in-person at the customer site
  • Confident, positive attitude to deliver great customer experience
  • Dependability both to get work done independently and for availability to work scheduled hours
