Deskside Support Technician - Apple, Windows

Position Summary: We are seeking a Desktop Support Tech with the accumulated job skills to complete assigned tasks pertaining to Apple or PC hardware and software and Apple / Microsoft operating systems.
 
Scope of Activity:
  • Microsoft operating system software
  • Microsoft Office applications
  • Desktop hardware and peripherals
  • Desktop imaging tools
  • Desktop network configuration
  • Desktop software installation and configuration
  • Executive support
  • Smart Hands activity: physical device count survey, basic patching, LED verification, crash cart assistance (console recorder / reporter), power cycling (reboot of equipment), replace media (i.e. USB thumb drive, DVD)
Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of applicable work experience
  • Technical college degree or comparable in Computer Science
  • Certification: A+ certification; baseline OEM certifications which include any of the following, depending on assignment: Dell Desktop / Laptop, Lenovo Desktop / Laptop, IBM Printer, Lexmark Printer, Server+, and/or comparable brand name IT certifications
