Level 3 Technical Associate

The Level 3 Tech Associate will join the team handling specialized requests for support of software / hardware that is not supported by the regular IT support group.
Duties include:
  • Putting OS on client laptops / desktops / tablets, configuration of laptops / desktops / tablets and client data migration
  • Advanced break-fix support of software / hardware issues for clients
  • Managing and updating tickets via the client's ticketing database
  • Flexibility required and the willingness to change directions within an hour, sometimes less
  • Travel between buildings required daily
  • Ability to work in a team dynamic and backfill for team members
  • Ability to train and backfill for partner IT groups, including service centers, audiovisual departments, and others
  • Excellent communication skills required, as the associate will have frequent interactions with clients in person and also via phone / email / IM
  • 3-5 years of technical experience desired
  • A+ certification required within 90 days of start date
  • Windows / Linux imaging
  • Advanced Windows OS troubleshooting
  • Basic server imaging with limited troubleshooting
  • Basic Linux OS troubleshooting.
  • Basic printer support and troubleshooting
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. solo
  • May be required to walk / sit / stand / crawl / kneel for extended periods
  • Must have excellent customer service skills and excellent written / verbal communication skills
  • Requires knowledge of Microsoft suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word primarily) and Windows 7, 8, and 10
