Job Summary
  • This position will focus on analyzing, documenting, and making recommendations necessary to allow effective closure / consolidation of existing customer facilities.
  • The Systems Analyst will work closely with the Project Manager to detail on follow-up on proposed activities. In this role, you will perform analysis of Clients employees work patterns, defining the applications that are used, the underlying technologies with an eye on those duties being transferred to employees in other locations.
  • You will provide documentation to end-users to allow them to quickly ramp up and use the Client's applications correctly in these locations and identify any technology updates that need to occur to facilitate this effort.
Job Duties
  • Defines application need by conferring with clients; evaluating procedures and processes. Develops solutions by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow's.
  • Creates technical documentation to enable applications at various locations. Creates end-user documentation to ramp up end-users into their new roles quickly.
  • Travel to remote sites and shadow end users to understand how they work and document their findings
  • Provides reference by writing documentation. Capable of effectively reporting statuses in person or conference calls with senior leaders
    Attend and interface for due diligence for site consolidation opportunities - track progress and performance results – report to project manager and advisor team
  • Remain very professional when interacting with end users and other teams to accomplish goals.
Qualifications
  • 5 - 6 years' experience as a Systems Analyst
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time
  • Understanding of DNS, VPNs, Citrix, Network Shares, Active Directory
  • Ability to sit with end users and document how they do their work relating to IT tools, application, PCs, security access and network.
  • Ability to design a new user workflow as a telecommuter vs their current office IT Processes
  • Excellent Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, and Visio skills
  • Ability to track down user information from multiple sources of people and documentation
  • Coordinate and execute testing of application and systems
  • Ability to work with Network, Site Support, Storage, Telecom and other teams to address any issues with working with the new user IT Processes
  • General application and desktop support knowledge Experience with workflow optimization preferably in a medical healthcare center environment.
  • Experience with data integration and conversion processes, preferred.
