The successful candidate has the following required skills and/or experience:
  • Write from a creative brief without direct client contact
  • Quickly research, understand, and write authoritatively about legal topics
  • Translate complex legal information into consumer-friendly marketing copy
  • Write according to best practices for web, including SEO optimization
  • Manage a heavy workload, with assignments usually in succession but sometimes concurrent
  • Write to a hard deadline on daily basis
  • Basic HTML
  • WordPress or similar content management systems
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or similar field
  • Receive and log work assignments through a project tracking tool
  • Legal background
