Business Analyst - P&C insurance

Job Duties
• Lead BA activities
• Analyzes business and user needs, documents requirements, and revises existing system logic difficulties.
• Implements systems applications and tests end-user processes.
• Creates / delivers correspondence, presentations, and other materials for end user training.
• Responds to client inquiries involving application questions.
• Develops customized queries and reports utilizing complex table matrices.
• Interacts with clients, internal and external, acting as a key liaison between business and technology areas.
• Documents business rules / functional requirements to support system enhancements.

Strong (5+ years) of Business Analysis experience.
Must have P&C experience (ideal if they had Specialty line of business). It would be great if they had AgencyPort experience but not necessary.
Experience with policy admin systems and third party integrations would be needed as well.
Understanding business process management and business requirements of the customers and translating them to specific software requirements. Documenting and analyzing the required information and data.
Understanding the technical designs as well as the specifications.
Evaluating the information gathered through workshops and surveys, business process description and task analysis.
Effectively communicating with internal teams and external clients to deliver functional requirements like GUI, screen and interface designs.
Very strong technical skills coupled with business intelligence and a deep understanding of customer's needs so that they can be transformed into application and operational requirements.
Acting as an interface between business units, technology teams and support teams.
