You'll be a part of a small marketing group which works across a broad canvas of technologies within the Ads & Commerce business . As a Data Scientist, you will be directly involved with the ideation and development of new features and content for Small Business products & programs. You will structure problems, analyze and extract meaningful data points, and turn them into content that small businesses can use. You will also be expected to inform strategies for marketing and other business teams through your analysis of product and campaign performance. Regressions, logical structuring, and modeling are some of the skills required for leveraging data from internal data stores. Using these key data insights are critical to defining how we grow our products from 1000s of users to millions of users. The ideal candidate is an independent, solution-oriented thinker with a strong background processing huge data sets, applying analytical rigor and statistical methods, and driving toward insights and solutions. You are a well-rounded top performer who is able to "crunch the numbers” one minute and critically think through strategic implications the next. Responsibilities Develop mathematical methods to analyze, detect, and extract practical characteristics of data, to generate the insights that users need Implement mathematical methods into efficient and scalable code that can run on a cluster Explore new methods for providing dashboard level views to be shared with executive level leadership. Collaborate with team members with diverse backgrounds (engineering, marketing, design etc), as well as various other teams to explore insights relevant to them and their users

MS or advanced degree in Statistics, Math, Computer Science OR related discipline, OR 5+ years of relevant experience with quantitative focus 5+ years experience with SQL, working on extraction, transformation, and aggregation of very large data sets 5+ years Programming experience in Python, R, OR C/C++. Analytical thinking / Problem solving skills - connect the dots between the data to develop hypothesis for product and growth team to take action Strong communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to represent, and influence discussions involving complex technical concepts and data-based stories.


2+ years of quant-driven consulting, product growth or related experience Leadership skills to manage deliverables and deadlines in fast changing, ambiguous and difficult situations. Ability to thrive in a rapid paced environment on multiple projects.
