Job Summary

Bring your IT infrastructure and messaging expertise to a recognized market leader in
the long-term care and rehab market.
Responsibilities include enterprise message design, engineering and support for 50,000 mailboxes across the corporate enterprise.
The engineer will provide support, implementation, and design services for on-premises and cloud based messaging solutions.
Resolves and appropriately completes assigned cases and change requests and acts as an escalation for support issues.
Applies new solutions through research and collaboration with team and determines course of action for new application initiatives. Implements new software solutions as required by the business.

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or equivalent work experience
  2. Experience with IT infrastructures including servers, networking, and storage.
  3. Ability to work independently, identify opportunities, develop plans, and manage implementation activities in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  4. Highly motivated self-starter interested in constant improvement.
  5. Highly organized individuals
  6. Strong communication skills and a team player comfortable interacting with various internal and external groups.
  7. Preferred candidates will possess a background in project management.
Additional Skills:
  • Understanding of cloud-based infrastructure and messaging solutions provided by leading vendors including Microsoft, Google, and Amazon AWS.
  • Experience with on-premise mail migration to cloud-based solutions.
  • Strong understanding and experience with Microsoft products in an enterprise environment including backup and restore procedures
  • Strong understanding of encryption and spam gateways.
  • Experience with Amazon AWS is a plus.
  • Experience in configuring & troubleshooting migration and sync tools.
  • Hands-on experience implementing, troubleshooting, and supporting Internet-based applications, web servers, and mail. Experience with Identity Management or Directory Services (LDAP, AD).
  • Implementation and Support of Multifactor / SSO / MDM Products: Ping, AirWatch, MobileIron
  • Relevant experience in designing, implementing and deploying large email-based infrastructure and services.
  • Experience in environments with regulatory requirements requiring controls to demonstrate compliance.
  • Experience with managing long-term implementation projects.
  • Successful track record in working on cross-functional, cross-team projects
