Enterprise Mobility Engineer

The MDM Engineer's assignments will include but are not limited to the following:
  • Demonstrate experience troubleshooting Email, Wi-Fi, VPN, other issues within EMM / MDM.
  • Designing, testing and deploying profiles using AirWatch.
  • Understanding of mobile device communication and mobile application structure.
  • Understanding of Mail clients, collaboration tools and proxy servers.
  • Testing, configuring and blacklisting/whitelisting Email through EAS.
  • Defining and managing functional user groups within AirWatch.
  • Installing / uninstalling and update versioning on mobile apps using AirWatch.
  • Configuring and troubleshooting mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets.
  • Setup encryption and security policies on mobile devices using AirWatch.
  • Develop and execute activity, performance, and compliance reports.
  • Create technical documents for technician reference and user reference guides for mobile device use as needed.
  • Willingness to work in a 24/7 shift environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; is able to explain technical topics in simple terms and is able to think quickly and react to client-impacting situations.
  • Self-motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks under littler supervision; experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Good to have:
  • Supporting a large-scale enterprise mobile device program with 25k plus devices.
  • Good working knowledge of Exchange ActiveSync
  • Demonstrated ability to work with MS PowerShell and RestFul APIs
  • Real-world MDM solution experience.
  • Real-world experience with BES 5 and BES 10.
  • Strong background in networking, carrier networks (Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, etc.)
  • Comprehensive Architectural know how to AirWatch N-tier Architecture, including DMZs.
  • AirWatch DEP and VPP.
