Notes: Applicants must provide a link to their writing samples portfolio. The portfolio should ideally contain samples from documentation or courses about programming.

Project Overview:
The team creates online courses about machine learning topics. Our students are external programmers.

Overall Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will write, test, and maintain courses about machine learning, specifically: Maintaining existing machine learning courses, fixing bugs in text and working with engineers to fix bugs in programming exercises. Writing original content about machine learning. Testing content in machine learning courses.

Required Skills:
- At least 8 years experience as a technical writer, at least 4 of those years should have been spent documenting programming products such as APIs. Skills or processes candidates must have to be considered for role: Excellent technical writer. Easily read code written in at least one of the following languages: Python, C++, C#, Swift, or Java.
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Specific Tools or Applications experience: None

Nice to Have Skills/Not Required:
- Experience developing technical courses.
- Experience in machine learning.
- Ability to write Python code.
- Comfort with linear algebra or calculus, or at least a willingness to learn sophisticated math.
- Facility with Linux command line.
- Experience with a bug reporting system. Experience with a source code control system.
