Contract to Perm Opening 
  • The focus of our Data & Analytics team is to implement solutions that provide relevant and reliable data leveraging AI and Machine learning capabilities to empower informed decision making and business optimization to drive the business forward.
You will be responsible for:
  • Working with business partner(s) to enable iterative cycles of data gathering, visualization building, optimization and improvements for uncovering opportunities for transformation that can be recommended to key stakeholders to influence short and long-term business strategies
  • Deliver analytical insight to several areas of the business to answer critical business questions and anticipate opportunities based on analytical, data and business knowledge
  • Working in multi-functional teams as the representative of the Data & Analytics IT team. In this capacity, you will possess detailed knowledge of the technical aspects of a project but also an understanding of the broader business (especially commercial/financial objectives).
  • Frontline technical leader for data-driven technologies such as data warehousing, visualization, and data streaming technologies.
  • Provide technical expertise and thought leadership to the business on projects involving assessment, design/architecture, development and implementation of analytics solutions.
  • Additionally, the role requires effective communication and team building skills, the ability to formulate clear recommendations on analytical issues and a drive to achieve within set iteration timelines and objectives.
 
POSITION DUTIES:
  • Lead and perform data/system analysis, design, building, testing, and documentation.
  • Monitor and analyze existing analytical solutions and recommend enhancements in functionality or business utility.
  • Transform the data into executable actions with relevant and high-quality analysis
  • Assist business analysts and end users across all functional areas in identifying long-term, strategic data needs for the enterprise, defining how the data is related to the business processes and developing a conceptual and functional model of the data to leverage through data visualization and analytics tools
  • Work with data and machine learning experts to strive for greater functionality in our analytics environment. This includes leading Proof of Concepts activities coming from Global centers as well as local
  • Ensure that all data security and control procedures are implemented and followed.
  • Maintain state of the art business and technological knowledge to enable the constant improvement of information systems.
  • Develop the analytics roadmap and executive stakeholders.
  • As transformation projects are scoped, participate in the effort to identify and design potential solutions, including: purchased software options, internal software and development options and corporate hardware/software policy and direction.
  • Lead a team of reporting analysts focused on building AI and ML powered reports/dashboards.
  • Support efforts to program, test, and implement projects and enhancements.
  • Supervise the efforts of external programmer resources, if required.
 
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to be able to translate business objectives into analytical insights.
  • Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes
  • Strong understanding of statistical modelling and Machine learning concepts with a passion to learn more in this space through work experience as well as personal learning.
  • Understanding of Project management principles.
  • Advanced knowledge of data visualization software such a Power BI or Tableau.
  • Strong understanding of ETL tools, Date Warehouse platforms, ERP systems and overall Integration of data with Frontline systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, potentially high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to interact clearly with business users to ensure that analytics solutions fill strategic business needs.
  • Willingness and ability to work with multifunctional teams both in country and across the world.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
