Project Manager

Location: Albany, New York
Duties include but not limited to the following:
The consultant will lead and ensure completion of assessments of the following project deliverables (either solely or in collaboration with other available IV&V resources), as follows:
Master Project Plan,
Scope Document,
Functional Requirements and Specifications Documentation,
Technical Requirements and Specifications Documentation,
System Configuration and Settings Documentation,
PeopleSoft 9.2 Application Security,
Conversion & Cutover Plan,
Testing Strategy,
Training & Knowledge Transfer,
Post-Implementation Support Strategy, and
Stakeholder Readiness Assessments.
In additions, the consultant will provide a bi-weekly report to the Deputy Comptroller for Payroll, Accounting and Revenue Services of risks to the project and recommended mitigation strategies.
Desired Qualifications:
OSC seeks a candidate with the following desired qualifications:
Knowledge of Payroll Processing,
Knowledge of HCM/Payroll for North American v. 9.2.,
Experience working with NYS government agencies,
Participation in previous IV&V engagements,
Experience performing project deliverable reviews (functional and technical),
Experience managing or participating in organizational change management activities as part of a system implementation or upgrade, and
Experience performing risk reviews and other project assessments.
