Our client, the world's leading provider of diagnostic testing, information, and services, is seeking an Analyst to support their laboratory information system for a long term consulting assignment for their office in Norristown, PA.

Job Responsibilities
  • Teaching the Pathway Interface to pathologists who are new to Quest
  • Evaluates business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovers areas for improvement, and develops and implements solutions.
  • Leads ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
  • Stays up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
  • Conducts meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
  • Performs requirements analysis.
  • Documents and communicates the results of your efforts.
  • Effectively communicates insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Gathers critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
  • Works closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff.
  • Provides leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff.
  • Allocates resources and maintaining cost efficiency.
  • Ensures solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  • Performs user acceptance testing.
  • Manages projects, develops project plans, and monitors performance.
  • Updates, implements, and maintains procedures.
  • Prioritizes initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
  • Serves as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
  • Manages competing resources and priorities.
  • Monitors deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience working as a Systems Analyst or Business Analyst supporting a laboratory information system
  • 2+ years of experience working with Pathway laboratory information system
