Data Distribution Infrastructure L3

Data Distribution Infrastructure L3 support team is part of the Enterprise Computing Organization. The team manages and supports a variety of reporting, data transfer products/applications. Some of the products are proprietary systems like COMET and Blastmail, and vendor products such as Connect Direct(NDM) used by our external clients. This position is for a Level3 support role with global responsibility for a all the application related to Data Distribution Domain. The successful candidate will be involved in day to day handling of change, incidents, escalations andproblem management. This includes application server administration. Technical troubleshooting of infrastructure and user incidents. Server and application deployments and task automation.

Required skills:-
Minimum 5 years? experience working in an operations support role-
Strong knowledge of HTTP, SQL, Databases and general data transfer technologies.-
The applicant should also be comfortable with system administration of Unix/Linux and Windows infrastructure/Application.-
Scripting of operational administration tasks in PowerShell and/or Python (preferred), Perl, ShellScripting or other.-
Experience in troubleshooting complex issues related to network, databases, storage, security and operation systems.-
The individual should have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in high pressure situations for Incident and problem management.-
Be available for weekend and on-call work on a rotation basis.-
Effective oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work well in a team environment

Desirable skills:- Previous experience working with File transfer services or related applications
