ATAP is a fast-paced, solution-oriented group developing and executing projects at the point where emerging science/technology trends meet consumer needs, products and services. Engineers working on ATAP projects will create demonstrations and user experiences that appear magical, simple and wondrous—and deliver at lightning speeds. As a Software Engineer, you will help create new interaction and user interfaces based on the product sensor. You will work closely with engineers and proactively learn about and explore the unique qualities of Product hardware and software, quickly build software prototypes to help designers exploring new interactions and validating product concepts, and build systems that help researchers to explore Product capabilities. Your work is essential to accelerate the development of Product technology.

Responsibilities
Develop prototypes with product for potential future products and for internal explorations.
Develop software to collect sensor data for signal process and/or machine learning investigations.
Maintain prototype hardware and software

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in related field and 5+ years of professional (or equivalent) experience in prototyping
Strong software engineering skills with 5+ years of professional experience in C/C++ and Java

Preferred Skills:
Experience in Android application development
Experience in data visualization with OpenFramework
Data analysis experience with real time sensor data Interaction design experience and skills
