Data Analyst

  • Responsible for providing complex analytic support, which includes data collection, trending, analytic, reporting and forecasting functions to effectively assist departments/divisions with decision making.
  • Prepares complex data for various internal and external customers, such as Department of Insurance (DOI), lawyers, external auditors, contracting vendors, employee groups, internal physician and hospital contracting staff, financial/medical expense staff and other divisions/programs.

Added Campaign Effectiveness analyst job specific needs:-
  • Work closely with engagement strategists, segment leads and Sales & marketing teams to develop hypotheses, convey insights and recommended actions.
  • Develop benchmarks and critical performance indicators, measure and report performance of all engagement campaigns, analyze performance metrics and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs) through dashboards.
  • Lead campaign effectiveness measurements goal setting and report out on effectiveness.
  • Lead /support strategic value-added analyses and A/B testing around various engagement campaigns, tactic, channel and audience optimization, tactic effectiveness and core business metrics
  • Deliver concise, compelling, data and insight driven business recommendations to internal leaders on where and how modified business decisions could lead to improved business and channel performance, as it relates to various campaigns, ultimately to optimize marketing budget across various channels and tactics and improve ROI .
  • Independently consult and drive results via working in a matrixed environment composed of various stakeholders across campaign strategy, campaign execution, digital analytics teams and enterprise analytics area.
  • Provide ad-hoc time sensitive analytical support to communication and engagement strategists to help inform the engagement strategy.
  • Assist analytics area, junior team members and technical teams to define data collection strategies and specifications to support and mature engagement effectiveness measurement practice.
  • Understand complex onsite and offline data collection methods for engagement campaign performance, and ability to improve processes to better support analysis objectives.
Preferred experience:
  • Marketing Analytics experience (i.e., campaign analytics to optimize marketing ROI, segmentation, test/learn marketing environment, basic knowledge on predictive modeling, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, SQL and Tableau for reporting/analysis and basic knowledge of various modeling approach.
  • Strong experience with consumer engagement/CRM platforms and digital engagement channels ( Email, SMS/text, Web) along with traditional channels.
  • Some level of experience with a variety of analysis techniques, such as multivariate regression, logistic regression, forecasting, promotion response/value prediction, advertising effectiveness, consumer profiling, and marketing mix and ROI measurement.
