Group Info:

The team produces the counterparty credit risk for capital market derivatives and security financing transactions (SFT's).

Candidate Value Preposition (CVP):

This role is the perfect fit for a senior, technically-savvy BA with an interest in derivatives products. In addition, this position opens the possibility to a long tenure with bank, as there is constant growth opportunity within this group.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

• Support the implementation process, primarily testing activities. The test requirements would cover various aspects of the risk system, including: trade & market data mappings, various risk measures calculations and aggregations, as well as the related reports and workflows.
• Participate in writing of detailed test plans and creation of sample data required to perform the related tests cases
• Perform the testing across the entire testing cycle to ensure business requirements are met
• Be proactive in identifying issues and proposing solutions
• Track and report the testing results
• Assist with writing of business requirements
• Assist with documenting of procedures, control processes, and policies relevant to internal controls
• Consult with stakeholders to understand the detailed line-of-business and/or risk objectives
• Continuously improve understanding of subject matter relating to Counterparty Credit Risk monitoring and Basel III RWA / capital calculations

Must-Have Skills:

• 10+ years for senior years of related work experience, preferably in a financial institution
• Strong knowledge with derivatives (OTC) knowledge
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, VBA, SQL, Database Concepts
• Advanced Python programming experience
• Strong Knowledge of SDLC
• Participation in mid-scale/large IT development projects, with hands-on experience in conducting testing
• Ability to write test cases based on existing business requirements documents
• Ability to create mock-up data required to test the pre-specified cases

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Broad understanding of risk management methodologies
• Experience in using work tracking systems (e.g. JIRA, HPQC) would be an advantage
• Experience in an Agile and fast-paced environment

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytic and troubleshooting skills with a solution oriented attitude
• Good self-organization skills including planning, scheduling, managing priorities and meeting deadlines
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to function effectively within a team, and work with multiple stakeholders.
• Curios, dynamic, focused, proactive, detail-oriented

Educational Requirements/Professional Certifications:

• Advanced university degree, preferably in a quantitative field, such as Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Science or Engineering.
• CFA, FRM, PRM designation or working towards one of those or similar ones would be an asset
