Junior Windows IT Support Analyst - Level 1
Akron, OH or
Warrenville, IL
12 months+ contract


*Client will train. Some previous experience / good knowledge IT Support/ Windows expereince preferred.

Role Description/ Experience:
• Responds to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, and electronically
• Diagnoses and resolves technical hardware and software issues
• Escalates unresolved problem/issues/requests to the proper tier 2 and 3 support team.
• Troubleshoots IT related problems of application software, PC's, laptops, and printers
Strong knowledge of Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with wireless network support, VPN, remote support

Use of incident tracking and problem reporting tool
• Experience in hardware/software upgrades and troubleshooting
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory administration

• Ability to learn and support new applications
• Ability to read computer instructions / documentation and comprehend procedural directions
• Ability to install and configure new hardware including drivers, software, and peripherals
