Position Information
Client is looking for a Linux Systems Engineer to configure and complete routine upkeep of our Linux systems. This position requires someone who is able to identify complex problems and implement appropriate, effective solutions to resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in automating software installation processes
  • Maintain Linux shell scripts
  • Networking
  • Verify stability, interoperability, and scalability of system architecture
  • Collaborate with Software Developers to create compatible system components

Desired Skills & Experience:
  • 3-5 years experience in a Linux environment
  • Experience with patch management
  • Install and configure open source software
  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience with Puppet/ Chef
