This position is an IT support position in support of a long running Emmy Award winning daytime show in a talk show format. It is general IT support for the Production office crew. You should be familiar with troubleshooting Office 365, network printing, mobile devices and some troubleshooting of video workflows in a fast paced environment. You will be part of a team of support personnel, with additional team members based in Los Angeles to provide additional support.

-This position requires on-site support and is not appropriate for work from home arrangements.

-The role of the MAC & Windows IT Technical Support is to serve as the technical lead focusing on operational based Mac & Windows systems, servers and applications.

-Responsible for providing a high level of PC hardware/software support for local/remote clients in a Windows/MAC environment.

-You will be involved in leading and assisting project-oriented engineering tasks.

-A key to this position is being able to switch back and forth between the hands on engineering and the more functional technical lead position as needed.


Job Duties for the MAC & Windows Systems Administrator:
  • This position requires creativity in meeting customer requests on a variety of administrative and technical needs, including but not limited to:
  1. Tracking customer inventory; coordinating with third party vendors and technical and administrative staff
  2. Facilitating video teleconferencing requests
  3. Advising customers on equipment procurement needs.

  • Perform installations, configurations and support of new PCs, Macs, Printers and/or other technologies.
  • Set-up and take down of a variety of systems and hardware components, including deploying equipment, packing and moving of computer equipment and peripherals.
  • Maintain timely tracking, escalation and communication of all issues, concerns, and key considerations related to project(s) for area of responsibility.
  • Proactively forecast and plan for monthly or critical upgrades and patches to systems infrastructure applied during monthly planned systems downtimes as part of the documented project SLA's.
  • Act as on-call resource for critical technical issues that need to be driven within the Technical Team Job Requirements / Qualifications: o Excellent communication skills, (written, and verbal).
  • Preferred Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) Certification (OS and Hardware)
  • Preferred Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification and/or (MCSE) certification
  • 5-10 years' experience in Mac / Windows 7 & 10, Office 365, Microsoft Office for Mac 2016, Mail App, Smartphones, iPads and iPhones support experience.
  • Experience providing MAC support in an enterprise environment
  • Antivirus solutions, McAfee
  • PO management o Macintosh OSX Operating Systems (El Capitan 10.11, Sierra 10.12, High Sierra 10.13
  • Extensive knowledge and expertise of Active Directory, Group Policy, TCP/IP, DNS & DHCP
  • Experience with CA ArcServe backup and recovery processes.
  • Able to support IT corporate requirements outside the normal business hours. Onsite support is required during normal business hours, after-hours support may be remote.
  • Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced professional office environment.
  • Experience with iPhones/Android in an Enterprise IT environment with MDM solutions such as Intune or AirWatch
  • Experience with Microsoft imaging technologies
  • Ability to solve a wide array of typical help desk calls for Mac, PC, Network Printers, mobile devices & other hardware/software requests
