The resource should have strong BPCS (Business planning and control system - is an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software designed for an OS/400 system) skills

Required Skills and Qualifications
•AS/400 (I-Series) COBOL/ILE, RPG IV/ILE and DB2/AS-400
•SEQUEL, SQL, Control Language, sub files, IFS/QDLS file creation/extraction processing, FTP/SFTP commands and embedded SQL within RPG programs
•Expertise of file transfer using multiple techniques between the I-Series and various platforms
•APICS certification or training, T.L. Ashford, Crystal Reports, Showcase Query Tool, AS/SET development language, XML processing, JAVA on I-Series, Bar coding and Zebra language
•Minimum of 8 years of relevant job experience
•Able to mentor other developers; provide input based on past experiences/expertise; "lead by example” to peers/colleagues; a team player with team building capability •Complies with the company's guidelines and corporate policies at all times
•Able to handle multiple projects, define project scope and objectives, assist with project schedules, work with cross-functional project team(s) and adhere to project deadlines, while staying within the approved budgeted parameters accordingly
•Minimal travel to corporate office or North America manufacturing plants.
•Bachelor's degree, computer science or equivalent work experience.
•Experience in supporting multi-location manufacturing enterprise software products such as JobScope or BPCS ERP/LX.
•Strong collaboration skills with ability to collect business requirements and interface with the internal and external user community including various levels of management. •Manufacturing industry experience, preferably within the core process domains of planning/scheduling, master data, production, shop floor control, inventory management, distribution, warehouse management and finance.
•Effective written communication and presentation skills.
•Experience with Microsoft office products, including MS-Visio and MS-Project

Job Duties
 Supports large and critical software applications within the organization.
 Viewed as a technical expert or advisor for one or more applications.
 Participates on (and may lead) projects where analysis of systems or data requires an in-depth evaluation of complex business process, system process, and industry standards.
 Regularly mentors and reviews work of less experienced team members.
 Executes schedules, costs and documentation to ensure assigned projects come to successful conclusion. '
 Initiates corrective action to stay on project schedules.
