Project Description
Our client has an ongoing project that is run on the Mercury Platform, which they are currently reengineering from scratch. This platform will service Front Office users for a major financial institution to provide trade capabilities, risk, and profit and loss. Their current team has a handful of developers.

Required Skills:
  • Experience with Erlang and/or Elixir (1.5 – 2 years minimum)
  • Phoenix framework experience is a must (1.5 – 2 years minimum)
  • Prior functional programming knowledge
  • Experience working with relational databases, knowledge of NoSQL databases is a plus
  • Excellent understanding of agile methodologies
  • Experience building scalable RESTful API's
  • Knowledge of GraphQL
  • Hands-on with Git
  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with MongoDB
  • Experience with Confluence, BitBucket and Jira
