IMO Annual Privacy Assessment (PSA) Coordinator

Location: Montvale, New Jersey
Support the Firm’s Privacy-Self Assessment (PSA) by assisting Information Protection Liaisons (IPL) during their self-assessment activities. This role will not conduct actual testing but will oversee testing activities to ensure that the IPLs are completing the testing appropriately and identifying and collecting required and relevant evidence to support test results. Role will be working individually with each IPL and may also provide technical knowledge transfer to groups of IPLs. Work collaboratively with the Privacy project team and IPLs assisting, when required, with coordination of all parties involved and support throughout the PSA process. Interact with all members of the Privacy team compliance and monitoring team to help ensure the information flow is efficient.

Support PSA testing working with IPLs to ensure that they follow required assessment activities using “audit-like” methodology, by evaluating the design and effectiveness of privacy controls.
Provide assistance on overall project management/coordination.
Identify and communicate observations to project management, including status reporting and identification of areas of testing ‘weakness’.

3 – 6 years of compliance testing, auditing and controls development.
Knowledge of Privacy Controls a plus but not required.
Ability to quickly build relationship with individuals who are not skilled auditors/assessors.
Self-motivated and disciplined and possess a high degree of integrity
Detail-oriented, resourceful and comfortable working as part of a service-oriented team
Ability to concurrently handle multiple different ‘work streams’
Uses good judgment and exhibits flexibility
Able to organize and resynchronize with little or no direction
Able to meet aggressive deadlines
Good written and verbal communication skills
