Role Info and Activities
This Sr. Application Developer/Architect position will be responsible for managing the technical architecture for our client's application platforms. This person must be self-motivated and results-oriented with strong programming, Identity Access Management, Portal collaboration, and Microsoft application architecture skills. The Application Architect will be part of the Corporate IT Architecture and Governance group.

The ideal candidate will provide thought leadership on best practices for architectural design, understand the Identity access management strategy, and have a thorough understanding of enterprise application integration involving Business Process, Business Intelligence, and Collaboration. This person will lead architecture and design reviews for .NET projects that focus on planning, deploying, and targeting new or significant modifications of existing & new enterprise implementations. This role requires a proven technical skill set that has been demonstrated in the development of enterprise Line of Business applications and their integration into heterogeneous enterprise systems.
The application architect will also be developing application platforms strategy and roadmaps, perform required R&D and provide recommendations to deliver industry standard solutions and services that meet clients business needs while ensuring a highly reliable and scalable application environment.

  • Design and enforce technical and architecture standards and guidelines for Microsoft development platforms.
  • Architecting Identity Management solutions using OKTA, SAML SSO protocol, integrating external services/applications, assist clients with business requirements for their application solutions and create the appropriate information architecture, and solution approach.
  • Development of enterprise architecture/applications, MVC, REST, WCF, web services, SAML SSO solutions
  • Provide technical guidance to solution architecture, design, and development for Systems Development team
  • Define best practices in the critical evaluation and selection of the software components
  • Promote strong combination of functional leadership and technical expertise across the team.
  • Must have project management skills and be able to manage multiple projects. Work in fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Adhere to the Change Management process and available for 3rd level production support
  • Responsible for technology and code reviews, identifying, recommending and implementing 3rd party products for desired solutions
  • Work and lead cross-functional teams in implementing business solutions
Must Haves
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science in related discipline or equivalent
  • 8+ years of experience with .NET programming languages C#
  • 5+ years hands-on experience with database programming (SQL) with SQL Server, Oracle
  • 5+ years of intensive experience in the architecture, design, implementation, and support of complex enterprise solutions
  • 4+ years of identity management solutions experience
  • MS Team Foundation Server, Visual Studio, Visio, MS Office experience is required
  • Experience with OKTA Identity Access management
  • Experience building REST APIs, WCF Web services, SAML integrations
  • Enterprise Architecture experience is a desired
  • Experience with infrastructure set-up and performance tuning as its related to the application platform deployment is desired
  • Experience in developing REST, SOA based architecture/applications, web services a strong plus
Skills Required
