Sr. Project Coordinator Supports Program manager to update and manage the integrated project schedule for all components of scope Support Program Manager to ensure all Project Management Office (PMO) processes followed; issues, risks, decision log management, and scope management process (per Molson Coors Methodology)
  • Work plan management including milestones, resource tracking, dependencies
  • Manages project documentation and project site requirements • Supports Program Manager to ensure all project team members are on-boarded and use project disciplines
  • Supports and consolidates overall project status and status reporting for projects • Supports Program Manager to manage all project disciplines (decision log, scope change management, issues, risks, etc.) Skills/expertise (Must Have):
  • IT Implementation experience.
Strong MS Project – is required to update project schedules weekly and understand the dependencies etc. SharePoint experience – follow-up with team members on getting them to update Issues logs, risk logs, etc. in SharePoint as well as weekly status
  • Strong communication skills with ability to communicate verbally & written effectively
  •  Work well with others, collaborate with other team members
  • Proactive, results driven, escalate appropriately, understand big picture of program
  • Does not blame, demonstrate frustration/stress
  • Methodology expertise and ensure Molson Coors methodology compliance
  • Strong MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills
  • Must be able to work effectively with multiple teams, internally and externally as well as a highly remote team. Lots of conference calls etc. are required on this global initiative.
Flexible work hours. Teams are in Canada and US.
  • Mid/senior level.
  • English speaking. French speaking, an asset.
  • Provides ongoing support to Team Activities: Schedule meetings in MS Outlook • Synchronize MS Outlook Meeting requests for stage gate reviews with SharePoint calendar (WebEx connection details, etc.)
  • Coordinate weekly project stage gate review sessions
  • Coordinate and prepare meeting agendas
  • Publish notes from meetings
  • Publish project related content on PMO Wiki
  • Understand project methodology processes and procedures, answer process questions for Project Managers as needed
  • Document and publish new or revised policies and procedures as needed
  • Prepare project audit reports Other duties as assigned
 
Required Skills:
MS Office proficiency, including MS Outlook
Understanding of basic financial concepts
Analytic skills
Organizational skills
Strong written communication skills
Preferred: Complex formulas in Excel
Familiarity with SharePoint lists and libraries
Approximately 7 – 10 years’ experience
