The Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) Client Technologies Tech with NTT DATA Services is responsible for providing 2nd level solutions to local corporate employees as well as remote employees aimed to improve stability, usability and operability of the company's computing.

Role Info and Activities
  • Provide clients with ongoing IT support for a wide range of simple to complex hardware and software related issues
  • Image, deploy and configure computer systems (Windows & Mac) with standard build applications
  • Provide deskside resolution such as troubleshooting, research, diagnose, document, and resolve technical issues surrounding end users' workstations encryption, VPN solution, end user computer access issues, etc.
  • Setup, maintain, troubleshoot & repair Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac OS computers.
  • Assist with the imaging and replacement of workstations and will participate in the testing of Windows 10, MS Office, AirWatch, Network Connectivity.
  • Assist with troubleshooting network Connectivity, messaging, PC's, mac, telephones, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Install, configure and troubleshoot Avaya desk phone including voice mailbox.
  • Guide end users through diagnostic procedures and/or attempt to replicate customer issues within similar environment to determine source of error.
  • Log all tickets into ServiceNow tracking system to maintain history of conversations, relate problem documentation and remedial actions taken and escalate to the appropriate group.
  • Follow up and ensure all tickets are updated periodically and resolved within internal guidelines and predefined standards.
  • Share knowledge regarding the evaluation and correction of technical problems with other Support professionals.
  • Work with IT groups to gather information pertaining to an issue or service request, generate workflows and/or QA and share that report with management and the rest of the team
  • Coordinate and setup events that require technical setup such as Laptop, network connectivity, printer setup, port activation, etc.
  • Serve as a backup for the AV team as required.

Experience/Skills Required
  • Knowledge of Dell, HP, Apple PC and peripherals patching and repair.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Avaya Desk phone including voice mailbox
  • Basic capabilities to troubleshoot networking, telecom, Windows servers and Audio-visual technologies
  • Experience troubleshooting Windows 7/ Windows 10, Microsoft Office, Internet Connectivity, and virus issues.
  • Basic expertise with software scripting, packaging deployment and asset management.
  • Experience providing support for mobile devices.
  • Experience providing remote access/VPN support.
  • Ability to repair & replace Windows and Mac hardware.
  • Basic capabilities to troubleshoot networking, telecom, Windows servers and Audio-Visual technologies.
  • Knowledge of Windows 7, 10, Mac OS, AirWatch, ActiveRoleServer, Windows deployment tool, Office 2016, o365.
