Sr. Business Analyst - CIP Support

NTT DATA, Inc. currently seeks a Sr. Business Analyst to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA.
Performs a broad range of analysis tasks to assist in the support of our local government client's Annual Capital Improvement Project process. Performs analysis/recommends solutions while coordinating activities on multiple initiatives.

Must be able to effectively:
· Direct or explain the appropriate/needed business and technical information to management
· Present both formal and informal training as needed
· Manage time and resources allocated on the assigned initiatives by providing direction and supervision when needed.
· Provides weekly status reports in a timely fashion
· Conducts meetings as needed
· Makes thorough presentations when requested
· Thoroughly researches literature on new or proposed work as related to the initiative
· Provides explanatory charts and graphs as requested
· Utilize modern tools of systems analysis to conduct thorough feasibility and cost benefit analysis studies; implements modern management techniques
  • Performs requirements analysis, identifies potential solutions and works with various IT teams to support & implement identified initiatives
  • Develops process desgin & documentation in support of proposed initiatives
  • Act as a liaison among stakeholders to analyze, document, communicate & validate business & systems requirements
  • Develops requirements documents
  • Develops schedules to meet established dealines
  • Can conduct Gap Analysis & identify Business Process Improvements
  • Works with City Departments to understand business requirements to offer options that will meet the organization's needs
  • Develops Business Cases, Requests for Proposals, Business Requireemnts & other related documentation
  • Can document business processes & activitiy diagrams with modeling
  • Works with business owners to develop test cases, manages the testing process for various initiatives. Develops Test & Acceptance Plans
  • Have a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs & translate them into solution requirements
  • Provides explanatory charts & graphs as requested
  • Utilizes modern tolls of system analysis to conduct thorough feasibility & cost benefit analysis studies; implements modern management techniques
  • Participates in task groups as directd to coordinate special projects/initiatives; conducts meetings & make presentations to small & large audiences as directed to communicate information or progress in specific areas.
