My client, a guidance technology, entertainment data and algorithms company, is in need of a Windows Systems Admin.

Job Summary:

The IT Services of Unified Communications and Collaboration requires a day to day Systems Administrator to oversee the Exchange and Active Directory services and support. Qualified candidates will be engaged in providing on-going support, daily stewardship, troubleshooting, automation, and enhancement of Exchange and Active Directory solution.
The candidate will be able to perform maintenance and meet the different requirements set by IT and different business units. The candidate will also provide cross-trained support for other Microsoft IT applications.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
  • Provide support for Exchange 2010 and 2013 environments across multiple domains and forests
  • Provide support for implementation of hybrid Office 365 environment
  • Be able to manage multiple domains and forests across different servers and locations globally
  • Manage and maintain Barracuda Networks SPAM filters
  • Manage and maintain Domain Trusts and Replication
  • Manage and maintain DNS for both internal and external for the company
  • Create and manage GPOs for the server environment
  • Assist in troubleshooting issues with servers from the product side of Rovi and IT related applications
  • Provide third tier support for the IT Operations Team for servers and devices
  • Participate in and complete projects and document projects on a deadline set by Project Management
  • Provide support for Electronic Email on mobile devices
  • Resolve issues through ticket system and customer support to internal users
  • Provide Lifecycle Management for the AD and Exchange environment
Experience & Skills:
  • BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 5 or more years of technical experience, including at least 3 years in Microsoft Server 2008 and 2012, Exchange 2007/2010/2013, Active Directory, Office 365, SharePoint Services, Lync 2013, and Certificate Services
  • Minimum of five years directly related work experience
  • Email SPAM filters, preferably Barracuda
  • Server Tools and Active Directory Tools across Windows Server Platforms
  • Proficient in AD, DNS, GPO, WINS, and DHCP
  • Proficient with PowerShell for administration and automation purposes
  • Understanding of Domain Trusts, Replication, and Parent-Child forest architecture
  • Understanding of monitoring tools, preferably Solarwinds and SCOM
  • Understanding of how Electronic Email works on mobile devices, preferably iOS, Android, and Windows Phone
  • Background with Microsoft Windows Server 2003, 2008, and 2012
  • Background with Microsoft Exchange 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013, and Office 365
  • Background with Active Directory and Services related to Active Directory
  • Experience with Exchange migration preferred but not required
  • Proven ability to maintain high customer satisfaction within a high-stress environment
  • Must be self-motivated, self-managed, proactive, responsive, and dedicated to success of the team
  • Excellent organizational, presentation, and communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with change and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated ability to identify urgency and act upon it
  • Willingness to work extended hours when necessary
