Identity Management Architect

Duties:
 
The Service Architect is a widely recognized and respected expert within one or more Topic Areas and possesses knowledge about all the technologies within the Identity Management domain, stays up to date regarding emerging technologies/market trends and can position and succinctly communicate about multiple technologies. The Service Architect works directly with Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects and Service Managers to ensure new solutions align with the architectural strategies and remain viable and operable.
 
The Service Architect will have a long-term, in-depth IT background. A specialist in one or more technologies and a generalist in all technologies within the Topic Area. They will have strong skills in training and presenting, and have confidence in dealing with staff, managers and partners across the firm.
 
Responsibilities and Tasks
 
    Develop a strategy and roadmap for Global Identity Management Services.
    Co-own and author the global Service Architecture portal information related to Identity Management services.
    Create and maintain Reference Architectures for Identity Management services
    Work with the governing bodies and management to create, publish and promote the direction of Identity Management services.
    Serve as an architectural resource for projects and other solution development activities. Provide the direction and support to Solution Architects for the service aspects related to the solutions developed.
    Work with other Service Architects to align activities and directions.
    Drive processes to create implementation patterns, best practice articles etc.
    Create Technology Standards documentation and drive processes to identify, create, ratify and publish standards.
    Create guidelines, technical recommendations and white papers, consolidating the input from a variety of sources and Subject Matter Experts.
    Create the service and technology roadmaps and migration strategies of retiring products.
    Chair a community of regional and cross-functional subject matter experts. Organize meetings, facilitate the exchange of information and follow the governing processes associated with this technology interest group.
 
 
 
Reporting lines
 
This role reports into the head of Service Architecture.
 
 
 
Travel: Occasional international travel
Skills:    
 
Ideally you have a very solid background and experience in the technologies listed below. In addition to this, you have positioned or are ready to be positioned as a trusted advisor not just to other technology specialist around the world within the firm but also to the IT leadership and to the business functions.
 
You will feel comfortable talking with an audience of CIO’s and to an international audience of technology specialists. You have the ability to influence decisions based on your knowledge and personal approach to the individual.
 
This role will be responsible for defining the technology and service strategy for an integrated IDM service offering within the single global platform services for our business. It will continue to work with the teams to enhance the well-established service offerings and aid in the transition from a globally dispersed service model to a world class single service offering across the globe.
 
    Specialist in Identity Management technologies including but not limited to IBM Security Access Manager (ISAM), Windows Active Directory, Azure Active Directory Sync and Federation, Windows AD Federation Services, RSA SecurID technologies, Azure MFA, Windows WAP, Azure Application Proxy
    Multiyear technology experience within IT environments.
    Skills in training, presenting and writing for C level audiences as well as an ability to talk directly to technology specialists.
    Confidence in dealing with staff, managers and partners across the firm.
    Good knowledge of regional issues and structures, ability to work with people from many different cultural backgrounds.
    Relevant certifications.
 
Education:          
 
    BSc. degree from an accredited college/university in a related field (i.e., Computer Science) or equivalent experience.
    Certifications related to the role (TOGAF, ArchiMate, BPMN) is preferred.



Identity Management Architect who will perform as a technical lead along with project management skills to be leveraged across multiple projects within the IDM program.
