The Business Analyst is responsible for supporting business partners in delivering new and improved Marketing and CRM solutions, and acting as a 1st line of support for business users. The role will work in a collaborative team environment and be responsible for escalating client issues as appropriate. In addition, the resource will help maintain, on a daily basis, the integrity of data and performance of the CRM database, as well as data integrations to Third Party Systems and Solutions.

Essential Functions:
  • Participate in the definition and delivery of new and updated capabilities within Marketing and CRM systems in collaboration with IT colleagues and business users
  • Support development and testing activities through procurement and creation of detailed requirements and test plans, including researching test data needs through analysis of standards, implementation guides, and requirements/design documentation as well as collaboration with other domain experts; and the integrating them with the project schedule
  • Monitor system health, performance and availability SLA's with the business
  • Identify high priority customer issues and escalate to appropriate team members, including management
  • Investigate, test and develop solutions and workarounds to resolve client issues/requests
  • Communicate the status of issues to clients and to the CRM/Marketing team
  • Provide end user support for support systems
  • Manage user set up and security
  • Review and audit of daily data imports and export for errors and correct where necessary
  • Assist in auditing of system data to ensure accuracy
  • Perform and monitor regular data cleansing and hygiene processes and activities
  • Prepare and deliver CRM Data Hygiene Monthly Status Report
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Ability to work independently, as well as contributing as an effective team member
  • Excellent organizational, writing, interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Degree in a Computer Science and/or Engineering related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience Required:
  • 3 or more years' experience with packaged Marketing or CRM applications
  • This may suit a candidate with a business background who now works in a computing role. Or, alternatively, this may suit a candidate with a computing background who now works in a business role and seeks to move back into computing.
  • Candidate must have prior retail experience
  • experience working with the CRM tool Aptos
Skill and Ability:
  • Marketing & CRM systems
  • Knowledge of SQL databases, concepts, queries and views
  • MS Access, Excel, Word and Powerpoint
