Program Coordinator/Scheduler - Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004

Job Summary Under direct supervision, assists in daily coordination of a large multifaceted software implementation program. This involves managing the program and project Plans along with maintaining project and program status reports.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Create the Program Master Schedule that identifies milestones and high-level interdependencies for all of the Projects within the Program and establish links between Program and Project-level project plans to aid in tracking and reporting.
  • Works with projects managers and/or program managers, team leads and stakeholders to ensure that schedule data is accurate.
  • Present the baseline schedules for review and ensure schedule accuracy and adherence to Governance and Quality process and standards.
  • Receive and review project manager progress reports and review for completeness and reasonableness.
  • Create an integrated status report for delivery to Senior Management
  • Ensures resource assignments are accurate and agreed upon by resource managers.
  • Take and publish minutes of Program Office meetings.
  • Performs special projects and other duties as may be assigned.
Degree / Licenses and Professional Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline or related experience.
  • CAPM desired.
  • Ability to perform basic functions in at least one of the following competencies of PMBOK: cost, scope, time management
  • Working knowledge of MS Project (MS Project Server 2013 desired)
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Knowledge of formal methodologies for planning and executing application development, enhancement, or support.
  • Working Knowledge of project lifecycles (Waterfall, Agile, etc.)
  • Scheduling Knowledge utilizing MS Project.
  • Strong customer service orientation (responsive, consultative, collaborative and accurate).
  • Strong interpersonal relationship building skills: able to work with a variety of people and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
  • Analytical ability with the capability to determine the root cause of scheduling problems (i.e. Tasks, Resources, Dependencies, Costs, Work, etc.) and issues and provide solutions
  • Superior attention to detail.
  • Ability to juggle multiple, competing, frequently changing time-sensitive deadlines and priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
