Release and Deployment Manager

NTT DATA, Inc. currently seeks a Release and Deployment Manager to join our team in Austin, TX. Candidates local to Austin, TX are strongly preferred.

Objestive:
Create a disciplined release environment according to ITIL standards

Individual will be responsible for the following:
  • Manage builds, releases and supports along with a small team
  • Provide expert guidance on release and deployment best practices
  • Advise development staff when requirements for release and deployment are not met
  • Communicate with NTT DATA management and Project Clients on status of deployments
  • Escalate issues quickly and professionally for fast resolution
  • Keep metrics on SLAs and KPIs
  • Manage team priorities; provide cross-training; review success of deployments
  • Work with Service Desk, Server team, Network team and others as needed for deployment

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years work experience with build configuration & release management, and application lifecycle managment

Minimum of 5 years work experience with software configuration management


Preferred skills:
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to forecast, 2-3 steps ahead (scenario based)
  • Someone with strong team/leadership skills
  • Creativity
