Minimum Qualifications - BSME or similar engineering degree - 4 years of relevant engineering experience - Valid CA drivers license and vehicle suitable for travel, both by first day of employment - Ability to manage time-sensitive priorities in fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous situations - Strong initiative, teamwork, accountability for results, customer focus, and sound judgment Desired Qualifications - Professional Engineer License - Project management experience - Exceptional analytical ability • General knowledge of end use technology in federal and state customer projects, specifically lighting, HVAC and Retrocommissioning • Proficient in Microsoft Office: MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint • Strong focus on client and customer satisfaction • Written and verbal communication skills, and presentation skills • Master's degree in engineering • DOE Qualified Specialists (ie: AIRMaster+, FSAT, PHAST, PSAT, or SSAT Qualified Specialists) • AEE Certification (ie: BEP, BESA, CBCF, CBCP, CDSM, CEA, CEM, CEP, CGD, CiEP, CLEP, CMVP, CPQ, CRM, CSDP, CWEP, DGCP, EBCP, EEP, GBE, PCF, REA, or REP) • Utility industry experience • Strong written and verbal communication skills and project management skills • Experience and proficiency in project management: manage multiple priorities and projects to completion such as energy efficiency projects • Experience with Measurement and Verification techniques • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM platform • Strong focus on safety Pacific Gas and Electric Company is an AA/EEO employer that actively pursues and hires a diverse workforce. TECHNICAL SUPPORT: • Complete customer site visits by performing energy audits of facilities to identify opportunities for the customer to reduce electrical and gas consumption • Evaluate energy efficiency options for customer specific needs and determine the appropriate PG&E channel (rebates, CORE, 3rd Party, Direct Install, etc.) to utilize • Provide technical calculations to estimate and confirm customer baselines, potential energy savings and address other impacts that could affect customer projects • Determine the appropriate calculation method to most effectively quantify potential energy savings based on; project complexity, business impact, and uncertainty of calculation inputs BUSINESS/PRODUCT/PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT: • Use technical knowledge and expertise to proactively identify future EE market opportunities • Build relationships with customers and facility contacts to assist in market transformation efforts, field perspective and identification of process or program gaps • Assist products and programs departments in the development of additional portfolio opportunities PROJECT MANAGEMENT: • Manage identified EE projects from development through implementation and payment. Requires updating of project status and interacting with BES members in Salesforce/Energy Insight tool, and communicating with all parties involved with project lifecycle TECHNICAL TRAINING: • Provide technical and policy trainings to the sales organization (BES) • Respond to sales team questions from the field with regard to products, programs, applications or processes where coordination with other departments as needed
