Role Summary:
The Sourcing Specialist will support Global Commodity Leaders to strategically drive cost, cash, and service for the business by collaborating on new product introductions, executing capitalized programs, and improving MRP systems integrity. Specific work will vary depending on business needs. The following description is representative of the type of work the specialist will be doing.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Assist Global Commodity Leaders to meet all necessary sourcing activity for the mechanicals & source finished goods commodities: quoting, negotiating, and sourcing of new or existing materials.
• Assist in completing purchasing and contract administration functions as required to meet program commitments.
• Work with Global Commodity Leaders to develop future state cost out roadmaps for commodities with "should cost” targets by supplier / commodity.
• Drive and deliver execution of cost and cash improvement programs on-time / on-budget.
• Develop and send requests for proposals to meet design needs and grow supply base capacity, capability, and cost position.
• Analyze and negotiate quotes from multiple suppliers and execute projects to develop "best in class " supply base.
• Work with Global Commodity Leaders, Fulfillment Leaders, Technology, and Product Management to execute programs to meet business objectives and meet customer needs.
• Deliver functional sourcing expertise and learn key drivers for new product introduction milestone process.
• Identify and implement simplification projects to enhance "speed to market " and quick turn execution on sourcing activities.
• Update MRP systems with appropriate supplier inputs (Ex: Cost, Lead-time, Supplier Selections, MOQs, ROPs, Safety Stocks, etc.) for each program or commodity.

Qualifications / Requirements:
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects, strategically negotiate quotations / contracts, and execute projects to meet Supply Chain deliverables.
• Must be self starter, proactive individual with excellent problem solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to articulate responses in a concise manner and target the message based on the audience.
• Must exhibit a customer focused, high energy and aggressive approach to issues.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at any given time.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.
• Bachelor degree in engineering, business, or other technical degree
