The scope of this Order is to provide IT services that will support the Board's efforts to provide IT support to users and complete its IT Modernization efforts.

  • Develop a project plan for transitioning 165 people (using approximately 150 laptops and 15 desktops) to Windows 10.
  • Create a baseline image for laptops and desktops for Windows 10 that meets the STB and FISMA security control requirements.
  • Determine whether a user has non-standard software installed on existing computer.
  • Install any additional necessary software on new laptops/desktops before distributing to users.
  • Back up users' data and files from retrieved old computer.
  • Distribute new Windows 10 computers to users and retrieve old computers.
  • Migrate content and user profiles from users existing devices to new Windows 10 laptops and desktops.
  • Update and maintain hardware asset management list for end user laptops and workstations.
  • Ensure Quality control measures have been implemented before, during and following the migration to Windows 10.
  • Provide Windows 10 Training (Instructor led and user guides for distribution) to users.
  • Communicate migration schedules and status to users.
  • Follow up with and support users following the migration to Windows 10.
  • Install monthly patches and security updates following rollout of Windows 10 machines to users.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree in business, management information systems or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years significant experience working as a Systems Administrator.
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience managing projects (Windows 10 migration requirement).

Required Skills
  • Must be proficient with VMware and NetApp technologies or equivalent.
  • Must have at least two (2) years of Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 experience.

Training Specialist must have a Bachelor's degree and prior experience providing software training.
