Position Description

Work Group Efforts
This person will provide support for the work groups for the Arizona Cancer Coalition; they are in need of support as they move into the new program year. Several work groups need new chairs and a lot of support moving into the planning process for the new Arizona Cancer Control Plan.
CDMIS
There is a lot of time that will be spent reporting progress on different Project Period Objectives and Annual objectives in the CDC's database called CDMIS. The data base is not user-friendly and this person will need to spend some time learning how to use the system.
This is a high level executive position. This person will be meeting with leadership from different hospitals, cancer centers and research institutes. They are responsible for the creation of positive working relationships between the community and Cancer Prevention and Control. They represent ADHS in a high level capacity that is very visible. They are expected to create high level presentations and write professional articles and reports.
Documents and Reports
There are multiple cancer profiles that must be completed during this program year. This person will be responsible for moving these reports forward.
