Job Duties
Services shall consist of the following:

2.1 SUPPLY SUPPORT SERVICES: The contractor shall manage workload, maintain schedules, and
Coordinate supply support services as required. Services include:
  • Maintains, tracks and updates equipment inventory via the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support System (DMLSS) to include equipment gains and losses.
  • Responsible for maintaining excess material in storerooms via DMLSS.
  • Prepares turn-in documents for transfer of material/equipment to Defense Reutilization Marketing Officer (DRMO).
  • Coordinates and performs the disposal of supplies/equipment to DRMO.
  • Prepares, conducts and verifies wall-to-wall and spot check inventories as needed or required by higher authority.
  • Prepares and submits information and reports regarding inventory to higher authority.
  • Maintains and updates a consolidated listing of all Equipment Custodians.
  • Utilizes supply and equipment instructions, regulations, policies and procedures to perform requisition, pick-up and issuing of Command equipment.
  • Monitors excess equipment available for redistribution to the Command from the local DRMO and Tri- Service Medical Excess Distribution System (TRIMEDS).
  • Processes requests for the redistribution of excess material available to the Command.
  • Required to move, lift objects up to 60 pounds and/or relocate equipment items ranging from furniture and office equipment to large pieces of medical equipment.
  • Prepares and submits equipment requests for technical approval from higher authority.

  • It is estimated that 3,856 supply support actions shall be required annually at a rate of 16 actions per day.
  • Task involves 100% work in a biomedical repair shop environment.

3.1.1 Performance Goals are as follows:

(1) All equipment inventories correctly identified and updated in DMLSS.
(2) All turn-in documents prepared for transfer to DRMO.
(3) All inventories completed by established due dates.
(4) All reports prepared and submitted on time.
(5) Maintain and update data base of all Equipment Custodians.
(6) All material receipts are verified for accuracy at the time of deliver.
(7) All stock receipts are stowed correctly according to category

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Contractor shall provide personnel with sufficient skill to accomplish task in the Performance Work Statement. The government will review the resume and approve personnel working on task. The government reserves the right to require the contractor to remove and replace any personnel who provide unsatisfactory performance, demonstrate insufficient knowledge, or possess inadequate skill level to perform task.
  • Education – Two years above high school with courses related to the occupation or appropriate training acquired while serving in the Armed Forces.
  • General Experience – Two years of experience that demonstrates the applicant's ability to perform the work of the position or that provided a familiarity with the subject matter or processes of the broad subject area of the occupation.
  • Specialized Experience – Possess an Associate's Degree in Inventory / Material Management, or
  • Equivalent military training and at least 5 years' experience in supply management, inventory control or warehouse operations.
  • Movement of heavy equipment is sometimes required. The employee must be able to safely lift 60 pounds and 10-40 pounds several times in succession.
