Description of work:

One administrator will serve full-time, for one year, to assist Enterprise Mobility with system administration activities relating to the evolving House Messaging and Mobility systems. This includes, but is not limited to, supporting mobility upgrade operations, mobile platform and Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) improvements, general mobile support and mobile system administration and engineering.

The EMM Support Engineer will work directly with the Enterprise Messaging and Mobility (EM&M) Branch performing the following duties:
  • Engineer, design, and develop, as well as administer and support mobile based solutions and standards for an AirWatch environments
  • Provide support for VMware Virtual Desktop Infrastructure and Office 365 as needed.
  • Perform configuration management, technical support, application support and develop supporting documentation.
  • Communicate both orally and in writing with senior staff, information systems professionals, and the non-technical user community

Capability Requirements/Experience
The Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) Support Engineer will require hands-on experience with any of the list of technologies below in an enterprise environment. EMM support staff must demonstrate proven previous experience, ability, or understanding of / with the following:
  • Candidates must have 2+ years strong operation support experience with Windows Server 2008 or greater
  • Candidate should have 2+ years operations support experience with any of the major Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms.
  • 2+ years operations support experience with MDM design and implementation desired
  • 1+ years operations support experience with BlackBerry desired
  • Candidate must have 1+ years operations support experience with AirWatch mobile device platform
  • Candidates submitted for this task should be flexible enough to work a diversified schedule at all House data center locations and participate in 24x7 on-call technical support.

Knowledge of and demonstrated experience with the following technology is a plus:
