Location: San Diego, California
Start Date: 07/26/2018
We are looking for resources for a potential upcoming engagement (full disclosure: this is not yet sold business). We will be needing a resource with Redshift skills, and below is a more detailed description. This opportunity would be located in the SoCal area I am hoping to show the hiring manager how skilled our vendors are in finding great resources (at this time, he is not open to vendor communication). Can you help by sending some resumes with rates to our temp staffing inbox?

Teradata Managed Services professionals have multiple years of experience managing the core database administration and operations functions. Their skillset include database development and programming skills like shell scripting, database modeling, data architecture, writing complex PL/SQL & stored procedures, columnar database architecture, OLTP & OLAP Database administration, data partitioning and projections and space management

These skills are fundamentals for management and operations of Redshift database as well since the Redshift engine is also columnar, ANSI SQL compatible database which requires proper data architecture, efficient data partitioning skills, PL/pgSQL and many other similar core database management skills.

When Teradata DBAs achieve AWS certification, it provides them required skills to deploy, manage and operate Redshift clusters on AWS, manage users, security, backup and recovery, data transfer and other system administration level functions.

Combination of AWS certification along with years of experience of the core DBA skills produces an unmatched persona that fits the requirement for efficient administration and management of Redshift clusters on AWS.

Thanks for your help!
