The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, organizational, financial and analytical skills.

The Associate IT Asset Management Specialist will be responsible for the following:

Support Information Systems (IS) Owners on all IS Run-The-Business (RTB) renewals, with primary focus on software asset maintenance.
Issue Software Renewal Questionnaires to IS Owners; monitor and communicate responses to appropriate parties.
Create and submit funding requests in SAP SRM (Shopping Basket System).
Primary responsibility for compiling monthly software maintenance shopping basket for smaller dollar renewals. Assist Asset Management Specialist in preparation of the supporting documents for this shopping basket.
Monitor Shopping Basket workflow to ensure approvals are taking place in a timely fashion.
Proactively communicate with members of the Alliance Purchasing Organization (APO) and IS Finance on upcoming hardware and software maintenance renewals.
Ensure electronic filing of key documents for reference and to support requests for information from user base. (End User License Agreements, Quotes, Invoices, Renewal Questionnaire responses).
Participate in Bi-weekly Asset Management Committee. Bring forward new information, ideas and concerns to group for knowledge sharing and feedback.
Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required.
Training provided for specific tools and technologies. Experience with SAP ERP, SAP SRM or similar system a plus.
Requirements:

4 year degree in Business or Information Technology
Familiarity with personal computers and general Windows navigation skills
Experience with MS Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to learn and be adaptable
