Experience: Ideal candidates will have a minimum 2 years' experience with medical audit, HEDIS audit, medical records audit or health plan/health facility utilization or quality management review experience.
Education: Bachelors and or RN preferred; Minimum Associate degree/LPN acceptable with 5 Years relevant experience
Skills/Abilities: Typing skills and use of personal computer and other computer programs; ability to appropriately prioritize work assignments

AHCCCS will complete fingerprinting onsite and employment is contingent upon successful completion of the background check.
Position Description
Scope of Work: Targeted Investments [TI] Program -Document Content Reviewer- reviews and validates a random sample of documents submitted by TI participants.

This position will review documents uploaded by TI participants that are required for validation of milestone completion. The types of documents include care plan forms, position descriptions, policies, protocols, and evidence of staff training. The documents do not include protected health information [PHI]. The position will review the content of the document using criteria established for each document type. Review findings will be entered into a mainframe AHCCCS system. The workload is expected to be uneven, with low volume in the months of July and August, and increasing volume in September and October.

Duties include:
• Reviewing documents in a utility file
• Reviewing the content of the documents to for completeness and to determine if it meets the document's review criteria requirements
• Documenting review findings in the document validation admin portal
• Prepare communication for the TI participant to explain any identified deficits in the document
• Consult with a supervisor as needed
